So it's left to TeamViewer now? I do love LogMeIn, but recently installed TeamViewer to test (the portable version).
Yeah, i saw this today as well, free until the 28th of this month it said, then $49/year for 2 pc's.
Pity, damn useful bit of kit.
I'll be looking at a free alternative now... I've only used TeamViewer in the past via the Partner ID and passcode method, will have to see if it does Remote Control without anyone being at the other end.
Make start with Windows is turned off in its options. I don't like it doing that.
(was something lost in translation hazel)
Took a few reads for me too
"The option to start with windows is disabled by default, I don't like that it does that" is my interpretation
Okay (it's early here!)
I will start again
Make sure the option for Team Viewer to start with Windows is turned off. Despite it being the default action, I have seen it start with Windows.
And I'm not confusing the startup with the Team Viewer service

I still think @DennisD should pin it on a Post of The Month thread.
Why me??
I'm not the official pinnerupper mta, but a "post of the month" would be a hell of a laugh as we do occasionally get some humdingers.
I may have made at least one myself at some time, although that's highly unlikely.

Would be interested in your findings if you get around to it Krit. I've heard only good reports about it's functionality, but I've never had the opportunity to try it.
TeamViewer posted a crossover guide to convert from LogMeIn, I'll edit back it with it when i find it again

excellent if you would please, as I'm about to swap over myself and will need to start some testing.
