I currently have CCleaner scheduled to clean my drive at startup. This does hold up the startup time when I am most anxious to get to work at the computer.
My suggestion is to provide a Run at Shutdown option. When I am shutting down I really do not care if it takes a bit of extra time, and, at the next startup, the drive is already clean.

Hi allenh, and welcome to Piriform.
As you know, there isn't yet any functionality button wise within CCleaner to do this, but it is possible to set up a "one click clean and shutdown" which I've used myself for years, and I wouldn't personally do it any other way.

A one-off set up and that's it.
