Hello everyone,

Hi @JPM,
Have you tried to use the Fix a Problem option in the bottom left of Driver Updater?
This will allow you to rollback any updated drivers.
Hi Laurence,
Thanks for answer. I have 11 drivers to restore. What is the best way to proceed as I don’t know which driver(s) do not work well?
@JPM I would advise rolling back all drivers to check if this resolves the issue, then if you are happy to update them one at a time until you experience the issue again, then roll that driver back and set it to ignore.
Thanks Laurence, I begin to update one by one but not finished yet. I have to leave for 1 day and will finish tomorrow.
Let you know if that works.
Regards
Hi Laurence, I roll back 11 drivers but unfortunately that doesn’t work. Same message with DaVinci Resolve immediately after launch and also displayed sometimes I don’t know why… Is there any solution or bypass? Thank you
@JPM, if rolling back the drivers hasn’t resolved the issue, this indicates it’s unrelated to the driver updates performed by CCleaner — rolling back restores the original drivers, so any persisting problem points to a different cause.
As a next step, I’d recommend uninstalling and reinstalling DaVinci Resolve to rule out any application-level issues.
If the problem continues after a fresh install, I’d suggest reaching out to DaVinci Resolve’s support team directly, as they’ll be best placed to troubleshoot further on their end.
Hi Laurence, Thank you for your answer.
I have 2 things to check with you help:
1- the message “LoadLibrary failed with error 126” is also displayed (as an example) with “OpenShot Video Editor” application and sometimes with “AMD Software” without launch of any specific application, so I guess an AMD driver doesn’t work well (AMD Radeon™ 880M Graphics or AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 w/ Radeon 880M…)
2- In CCleaner, “AMD Radeon™ 880M Graphics” driver has been updated the day I launched CCleaner Driver Updater after buying it (17 march) but it does’n’t appear in the list of drivers I can restore, that’s strange.
Do you think that can be the source of problem? and how is it possible to solve it?
Thank you
@JPM, Thank you for providing those details.
You raise a good point. Since the error is appearing across multiple applications that rely on your AMD graphics hardware (DaVinci Resolve, OpenShot, and AMD Software itself), this does suggest the AMD Radeon 880M Graphics driver may be the source of the issue.
I also want to look into why that driver isn’t appearing in your restore list, as it should be available if it was updated through Driver Updater on 17 March.
To help me investigate further, could you please generate CCleaner log files by following the steps below:
Download and install the CCleaner Support Tool using the link below: https://download.ccleaner.com/CCleanerSupportTool.exe
Once installed, run the tool to generate the logs.
At the end of the process, you’ll receive a 5-digit File ID.
Please share that File ID with me so I can review the logs and investigate further.
If you run into any problems or have questions, please let me know.
Thanks Laurence,
File ID 68RCE
Do you need something else?
Thanks, I was able to locate the log files and have requested the development team to review them.
I will follow up when I have more details.
Thank you, have a nice weekend
Any feedback? Thank you
HI @JPM,
Our development team has reviewed the logs and confirmed that the backup for your AMD Radeon 880M Graphics driver, unfortunately, failed during the update process, which is why it doesn’t appear in your restore list.
I’d recommend trying the following steps:
Open Device Manager (you can search for it in the Windows Start menu)
Expand Display adapters and right-click on AMD Radeon 880M Graphics
Select Uninstall device
In the confirmation dialog, make sure to tick the “Attempt to remove the driver for this device” checkbox, then click Uninstall
Restart your computer — Windows should automatically revert to the previous driver that was installed before the update
If for any reason Windows doesn’t restore a working driver after the restart, you can manually download and install the previous version of the AMD Radeon 880M driver directly from the AMD support website.
Please let me know if you have any issues?
Hi Laurence,I follow your instructions and that works. My question now is what are the interests of your driver update tool if I get errors the first time I use it and then wait for 10 days to get a valid solution. I would like to be refunded of my purchase as I guess I will not use again your driver update tool, thank you.
