loading CCleaner ask for what software to run

when I load CCleaner, I get the pop op box and it ask for what software to run this file with, what is blocking the exe file.

Which version of CCleaner, and where did you download it from?

Does it say something like CCleaner 212 setup.exe ?

Did you download to your desktop, or choose run in your browser when offered the download?

Xp or vista?

If you are having file association problems it should be easy enough for us to help you to sort it out.

After I down load the file, i click run it loads then the window pops up that says, open with, lists the ccstup212{2}.exe then there is a list of all the software on the computer that is available to run software. when I loaded i on a nother machine it loaded and ran all by its self.

It does make sense Roger, and as hazel says, if it's a file association problem, probably easy fixed.

But it's important to know whether you are running XP or Vista (32 or 64 bit).
