Leftovers from Removal of Adobe Flash Player

CCleaner does not seem to remove all the bits left over from uninstallation of the 64-bit or 32-bit flashplayer fror IE9. Hopefully this will be addressed soon.

More specific? what is left behind?

More specific? what is left behind?

The "Flash" file remains in the folder C:/Windows/System32/macromed

The Macromedia folder remains in "Roaming" in AppData.

The FlashPlayer folder remains under Adobe folder in "Roaming" in AppData.

CCleaner's cleaning section can't differentiate between leftovers of that type and a still working program. The Uninstall section of the program only asks windows to run the normal uninstall (no different from add/remove programs (XP) or Programs (Vista/7) )

your best bet is to use a total uninstaller such as REVO or other such programs
