Each time I use CCleaner it proposes me to stop bitdefender from starting at PC start.
Bitdefender is an aknowledged virus scanner and that should not even be a question CC asks me.
Why is it that CC does this all the time? Did the compagny do a full surrender to the windows scanner like they did with the program removal option? That used to be a part of CC but nowadays you get rerouted to the windows option.
I want CCleaner to stop such stupid questions and yes I did try the tab where you can exclude progtams for such options but Bitdefender is not even in the list.
For both CCleaner and Bitdefender I use a full subscription so stop this BS.
On a sidenote. It is impossible to reach out to customerservice sins they do not opt such a contact.
You get constantly rerouted to the FAQ no matter what you put in and the above complaint is not even in the list.
The easiest answer is to stop using healthcheck and regain your control with custom clean and the many tools, which healthcheck runs but you don’t get to save your preferences

Please could you send me a screenshot of where you are being asked to stop Bitdefender from starting at PC start so we can review this fully to see what improvements can be made in the future.

At the moment, there isn’t a way to whitelist specific apps so that they are ignored in the Unnecessary startup apps list in Health Check. I understand how important your antivirus is and how frustrating it is to see it repeatedly flagged.
I’ve passed your feedback on to our development team so they can review this behaviour and consider improvements to how CCleaner handles essential security software in future updates.
At this time, all we can recommend is skipping this part of Health Check and managing this via the Startup Manager feature on the left of CCleaner.

I think you are mistaken if you claim it is not possible to “whitelist” specific apps.
Under the Optimization tab there is exacly that option but for obscure reasons Bitdefender is not listed there.

As you can see the tab on the right shows the option to whitelist apps.
So that raises the question, why is Bitdefender not mentioned between the apps that are shown on the list, (now under the center tab)?
@JosV, the screenshot you have sent is of the Performance Optimizer tool. You can find the Startup Manager at the bottom of this list, just above ideas.
One would agree with you if it was not the case that allot of the apps mentioned in screenshot under the the optimizer tab, also popped up, when they where still active, as a “unnecesairy startup” app when scanning.
They all had the option to be white listed wich means to my opinion that Bitdefender should be in that list for “optimizing”.
Ones white listed under the optimizing tab it will be excluded when scanning like the rest in the list.
For me that sounds like common sense.

The Performance Optimizer tool is designed for apps that are currently running on your device. It looks at what’s active right now and offers to put those apps to sleep to improve performance.
The Startup Manager is for apps that start automatically when your PC boots. This is the list that Health Check uses when it suggests “Unnecessary startup apps”.
Only the Startup Manager functionality is covered in Health Check, which is why what you see in Performance Optimizer (including its own whitelist options) can be different from what appears under Unnecessary startup apps in Health Check.
