Issues with adding files to Exclude list

Hi, whenever I attempt to add files from Temporary Internet Files folder to the exclude list, it gives me an error message (see attached image). As you can see from the image, I am the system administrator and I have no problems modifying files manually in that folder so why I cannot do that through CCleaner? I would greatly appreciate any help on this as it is an extremely frustrating problem.

My platform is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition and this is my root directory:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files

The way IE's Temporary Internet Files is cleaned/vacuumed meaning the index.dat files it would "possibly be pointless" to exclude anything in that folder. Cookies on the other hand are a different story using Cookies to Keep.
