Issues scan - removal of activex entries?

Hi, I run CCleaner everyday, and when scanning for issues, I always delete old path names, file names etc, basically anything that isn't an activex/com entry.

Could I delete all activex issues without repurcushions? I am nervous of removing them all, but I would like to if they are causing isses within my pc.

I'm not one of the experts but my personal experience is that I've never had any issues with CC and Activex removal. CC will ask you if you want to make a backup as a precaution just in case. If you're a little paranoid [like me, lol] you could also create a System Restore point if you want. A lot of people here also like using Erunt in addition to or instead of System Restore. It's fast, easy, and can even be set to do a backup every time the computer boots. It backs up the registry only and doesn't use nearly as much disk space as System Restore.

Did you create the Cleaner icon? I've never seen that one. It's cool.

Thanks for the help, I've been itching to delete those entries for weeks, and my finger hovers there dying to press it :lol:

I'll do what you suggest and create a system restore point, I never thought of that :blink:

The icon is from my vast collection of crystal graphics, which I have a real passion for, that and oh pink too :rolleyes:
