This Friday afternoon, Apple has opened up an iPhone 5 battery replacement program after discovering that a “very small percentage” of units “may suddenly experience shorter battery life or need to be charged more frequently.”
I just had to get a new phone yesterday because of that same problem. (Not a smart phone, just a cheapy flip phone. But the coincidence is weird.)
