After the fiftieth pop-up you will change your mind and embrace the deal.

I started with Ccleaner shortly after win 98 was released, these folks have done remarkable work over the years. I am sorry to say goodbye, however no one has my permission to send me these advertisements. Piriform has become the problem, not the solution. 19 years, and you people can't even ask permission. Thanks for the help, but your site has become criminal.
jimerb I don't agree with the popups either and neither do most other users.

Since when is asked permission for advertisements?
That would be a great improvement in our society!
I'm burned out on the popups myself. I'm uninstalling and I'm never coming back to this app.
Bad, bad business.
Buh bye.
The Pro version actually has an opt-out where you can disable "show offers for our other products". It's under the Options\Privacy tab. If I hadn't already owned it, I probably wouldn't have made the purchase with all the annoying pop-ups but since I already did own it, I went hunting for it.
It works - no more pop-ups.
Pretty easy to modify that cookie. Kinda surprising nobody suggested that. Anyway, I got tired of the popups and dove in. You will see if you know what you're looking at. Problem solved.

I have the latest pro version 5.59.7230 and am getting the pop up trying to sell me the pro version! The setting mentioned is unchecked as well! Very annoying.......

Was that the summer sale? You may have got the offer for expired users - which was supposed to say why you were getting it but instead went out with the same content as for the free users. DM me your serial key and/or registered email address and I'll check to make sure there's nothing else funny going on.

Yes summer sale. Expired? Is it not a lifetime license? Mine was purchased years ago. I still have the disc and nowhere does it mention it's a subscription.
In windows 10 go to local disk C or what ever your disk is named go to program files and not the one with x86 at the end go to CCleaner folder open it find the exe named CCleaner Updater if you hold your mouse over it will say emergency updater " Delete That exe and your popups will stop until the next time you update the program" but don't be surprised if the update function within the program does not work. ?
Good bye I will not be back considering I just edited the program Have Fun.
This is how mine looks when I check the subscription while I'm on line. NO popups.
Copying my name or license will not get you what I have achieved like I said I'm a programmer.
I've removed your image. You posted your registration key. People could use the key.
If you have no popups what are you complaining about? In your four consecutive posts it's not clear what you are mad about. As far as I know the popups come from ccleaner.exe not the emergency updater (which i've also removed/don't have because I ran portable).

I never claimed to be mad, I've claimed to be a professional who repaired the program I have used for many years. sounds like your the one whos mad because I have gotten exactly what everyone else wanted with out piriforms assistance and as long as I am not violating anything I would advise you to leave me alone. You might be a moderator but your not a professional.
It is apparent that Nergal has no Idea of what he is talking about so he has been ignored, if you know your way around the registry look for updater there is approximately 15 instances of it, and know how to create firewall rules the program can easily be fixed. 100% of the problems come from the updater, the program functions just fine without it operating there will be no popups and you will not be told anything has expired, Nergal just does not want me to give the fix away he was made a moderator to shut people up so money can be made. There is no anger here only truth. But I know that he considers if your not submissive to him your a trouble maker!
