I just installed it for 7 64bit. No biggie, I only use IE as a back-up browser.
Installed.
I have it only because IE is quite necessary on Windows and it a great improvement over IE8, also I like having all my stuff updated lol.
Firefox user forever. ...Chrome as backup,
Firefox user forever.
...Chrome as backup,
This!
I use Opera 11 as primary and Iron 10 as backup.
Can someone post their full version string? I installed the RC a couple weeks ago and Windows Update isn't picking up on an update, so I want to make sure I have the latest version.
Mine: 9.0.8080.16413 64-bit
EDIT: That is RC, I haven't rebooted since I installed the final version. Sorry.
I'm trying to use it as a default browser now, but ad blocking is not easy (TPLs block too much, Simple AdBlock is paid now, other ad blockers are waaay to old...). And fonts are still blurry

The Windows hosts file is super easy and works for all browsers.
Would you mind posting your full version string if you use 32-bit?
To note TPL Abine and EasyPrivacy Block something on this forum (including for some reason . . . member avatars or at lease the avatar for members without avatars)
I'm loving the drag tab to new window/attach tab to different window feature.

Yeah, but adblocking lists need to be updated regularly.
The x86 useragent is
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1;Trident/5.0)
The x86 on x64 one is the same, with "WOW64;" after the NT version number.
No other things are added (yes, .NET Framework, I'm looking at you).

Using IE9 some drop down arrow menus dont work on IP Board forums. 9ones where your messages are top right for example)
I believe they are trying to make a patch or fix for it (when they get round to it)

@Hazelnut I've noticed I've had to switch back and forth between compat mode on/off depending on what I'm doing here.
@winapp2.ini Yes i realize other browsers had drag to new previously that does not change that it is new for IE (and I personally think the implimentation is better than other browsers that I'd tried the feature on).
@ishan_rulz 9.0.8112.16421 32bit for me

Try dragging a YouTube tab with a video currently playing in Firefox...

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I had installed the RC a few weeks ago, but Windows Update wasn't picking up on any available updates after the final version was released (not sure why it didn't). Just had to install 9 final manually.
WU doesn't show IE9 yet - it's planned for March 21.
Try dragging a YouTube tab with a video currently playing in Firefox...
I just tried this (I've done it in the past, but didn't really ever think about it)
Trial one: Move playing video from tab to own window
Results: Success, not even an audio or video skip
Trial two:
Move standalone video window into previous window
Results: Sucess, no skips
Trial three: Move playing video from one window to another
Results: success, no skips again
Not sure what you were getting at
On my system, dragging a tab in FF 3.6 restarts the video
Perhaps it was an improvement in Fx4, probably in one of the first betas. I built this computer last june, so all it's really ever had on it was fx4 beta as a web browser
