I have been using CCleaner for a long time and have been very satisfied with it so far. However, I have a big problem with the current behavior of the start dialog: Due to a careless click at startup, Avast was installed without further prompting. This has completely disrupted my entire security concept and now I have to spend hours laboriously reconfiguring everything maybe even reinstalling my system - thanks a lot for that.
It’s really strange that a single misclick can have such serious consequences. An additional query or clearer confirmation during installation would not be too much to ask.
Of course, I realize that the manufacturer probably isn’t very interested in such feedback. But maybe a miracle will happen someday and this behavior will be changed.
Anyway thanks for nothing, and I’ll consider whether to ban CCleaner from my system for good.
