I would like to be able to identify which of my browsers is the source of the cookies listed when I select the cookies options.

Good suggestion which is already available for ccleaner. Click a cookie in the cookies to delete column and at the bottom a (or multiple) browser (or flash) icon(s) will show
Thank you for pointing this out! I'm trying to understand why cookies from Firefox show up in the CC list after FF is closed, since I have set FF to erase cookies when it is closed. Any thoughts?
Not sure, though my mobile firefox started acting similarly about three versions ago
