I have several HDD's picked up within my windows.

I have a NAS with a 1.5TB and a 500GB formatted into 2 partitions. These are being picked up as SCSI correctly.

I have (as primary boot drive) a 500GB SATA being picked up correctly.

Then I have a 320GB samsung and 1000gb WD FALS, both being reported with correct model number, but as IDE.

Thought this would interest you as I have not seen a 1000GB FALS HDD in IDE, so its definitely a bug.

Are you sure you are not running the SATA controller that the two drives in question are attached to in IDE mode in the bios settings. If so that would explain why they show up as IDE drives.
