Icon Problems

Hi.

I have used older versions of ccleaner before and have never had a problem, but with version 5.12.0.5431, some of my icons have become skewed.

First, my Chrome Icon disappeared from my Taskbar (well it changed to a 'white page' -looking icon) and now my MusicBee icon just changed right after running ccleaner, into a weird folder-looking icon.

I tried to rebuild my icon cache, but it didn't correct anything.

Thoughts?

What operating system are you using?

Are you using the registry cleaner?

Have a try of the latest Ccleaner 5.17

Please try 'iconfix' (in the attachment).

The problem you describe has more to do with Windows than with CCleaner, I think.
