I somehow have a subscription to CCleaner without an account

I somehow have a subscription to CCleaner, just no account. All my email addresses do not appear via the liscence look-up. I just quickly created an account to be able to ask this, but I have no other products. Yet I apparently have a subscription via the CCleaner app on my laptop (it was already stated on it). This will be extended in 5 days and costs will then be charged.

I have not received an email anywhere with a Reference Number from Cleverbridge (also checked spam). I also don’t remember how this happened at all, I vaguely remember that I took a free trial period (for one month). Only I can’t remember anything that I had to create an account for.

Furthermore, there has been no payment from my account. How do I solve this, I cannot cancel my subscription?

@Laurence_CCleaner can you help, though it sounds like the original poster has an imposter ccleaner on their computer. Ccleaner doesn’t/can’t charge you without a method of payment or a buyer’s agreement.

Maybe not though, maybe the seller installed a trial of pro to use one of its tools. Is your computer second hand? Am I misreading? It sounds like this is a relatively new computer and ccleaner was already installed, is that correct?

similar but not same problem. i bought cc cleaner pro plus via google play store- my android phone. it supposed to include one license for phone and one for mac or window. i can’t retrieve the key or email to activate my window ccleaner.

i wrote to ccleaner chat help and they connect with a real person, and that person asked me to contact to Google play store to get the activation code. Google play store has no help. i can only ask for refund.

Yes my laptop is arround 3,5 years old and it was brand new. As far as i remember the CCleaner app was always installed.
