I just bought CCleaner Pro for $44.95, was given license key and a link to download, but it is not installing. And my list of apps includes its name, but when i try to uninstall it, it cant find it

I just bought CCleaner Pro for $44.95, was given license key and a link to download, but it is not installing. And my list of apps includes its name, but when i try to uninstall it, it cant find it.

That sounds like an incomplete install for some reason, it should be easy to fix.

By default CCleaner installs in C:\Program Files\CCleaner unless you have used the custom install option.

As you have the key then you can try another install.
Instead of the download link that you were given use this one:

  1. Download a new CCleaner installer from here: CCleaner - Download Builds
  2. Double-click the downloaded ‘ccsetup###.exe’ to install CCleaner.
  3. Open the newly installed CCleaner and if it says ‘CCleaner Free’ then go to Options>License Key and enter your licence key to register and activate it as CCleaner Pro.
