I just upgraded from ccleaner pro to ccleaner pro plus on my android phone and I have no clear way of using my activation code. Also it says with the upgrade that I can install it only multiple devices, how can I do either when I can’t even use my activation code.
Did you get it from here (ccleaner.com) or google play?
I think that two things are happening here, both misunderstandings of how CCleaner is licenced, particularly CCleaner for Android.
Like Nergal I suspect that you had bought CCleaner Android from Google Play, and then CCleaner Pro Plus from CCleaner themselves.
When you buy CCleaner from the Play Store it does not have a key. (And you have not paid CCleaner for it you have paid Google).
When bought that way CCleaner Android is activated simply by logging into the Google account it was purchased from. (On any Android device).
CCleaner themselves have no knowledge of any particular CCleaner Android purchase made through the Play Store, they do not have any of your details from that purchase.
The second missunderstanding is one that we often see, it’s what is the actual difference between CCleaner Pro and CCleaner Pro Plus? (and CCleaner Premium too).
It is something that does seem to confuse some people, particuarly as CCleaner7 no longer shows at the top if you have the Free or Professional mode running, let’s see if I can explain it simply.
A Pro Plus (or a Premium) Licence is not a version of the CCleaner ap.
Pro Plus and Premium are different types of subscription/licence to use the app.
The 3-types of subscription/licence are Professional, Professional Plus, and Premium.
Updating your subscription/licence from Professional to Pro Plus, or to Premium does not change the CCleaner app in the slightest.
What changes is the number of devices that you are licenced to use, and the number of softwares that you are licenced to use on those devices. (ie. CCleaner, Recuva, Speccy, and in the case of Premium Kamo too).
All 3 licence exactly the same CCleaner app as Professional though - CCleaner is only one app version.
(OK, just one for each type of device).
You can run it as the Free (unlicenced) mode, or it can be the Professional (licenced) mode.
The app itself is the same app in each case, the extra functionality of Pro shows when you put a licence key in to ‘Activate’ it as Pro on a device, or in the case of CCleaner Android bought from the Play Store it’s activated whenever you are logged into your Google account.
