I hate the new big screen displays in V7

Are there any plans to return to the original UNOBTRUSIVE mode in a corner of the screen? I suspect someone (marketing?) likes the big, splashy screens, but I doubt most users wouldn’t prefer the older format.

Hi @TFord,
The window size in CCleaner 7 should be a similar size to the previous CCleaner 6 window size.
Please send me a screenshot of what you are seeing so I can investigate this further.

How is that different from

OK, here’s an update: Because of vision issues, I often use a 125% text size. In Ccleaner 7, if you open it in less than a full screen size window (which it does by default), and at 125% text size, the scroll bar that normally shows up on the right side of the window isn’t there, and you cannot scroll down to all the buttons.

Once I got it to run using 100% text size, and installed my license key, that issue seems to change somwhat in Pro – now it is ok if I’m in 100%, but in 125% and less than full screen size, the startup window .does not show the buttons at the bottom to run other tests, there is no scroll bar, and the down arrow does not scroll the display, but if I then switch to 100%, it shows everything, or if I expand the window to full screen, the scroll bar appears.

Also, I finally managed to fix the Avast issue – the reduced display on startup was showing only one button to go on from the first screen, and that was the Avast installer. And I finally managed to delete that Avast Software folder. So it looks like I now have a functioning copy of Ccleaner 7, But I have to say that I still prefer the smaller display window of the old version that lets me run other apps while Ccleaner runs – so I posted that under Ideas.
