I find the new version much worse than the previous

I find the new version awful and cumbersome. It was simple and easy to use before. How did you make it worse like this?

Is it possible to block updates from the old to the new version?

Roll back to v6.39 using the instructions linked below and follow the instruction #4 to prevent it trying to update to CCleaner 7 again.

I really am disgusted with CCC7. I had all types of problems when it automatically updated to it – I had it set so it could NOT update without my approving of it first, and this now-garbage program did so anyways.

Then there is that STUPID when you want to use the cleaner, it tells you “It’s Busy!” and do so later. Screw that!

Ah, BUT NOW, when I try to run ANY of the menu opens, IT COMPLETELY CRASHES MY COMPUTER.

You know, the makers have been pushing this “NEW” version for months, and the one time I tried it during that time, I hated it. And they still went ahead and released/forced upon their customers this crappy version.

I download the last v.6 update and am going to uninstall this CCC7 junk and replace it with something that WORKS and has the features I like! AND I am going to make sure auto-updates is OFF.

I really cannot understand why the company pushed this piece of – well, you know what, on its users. They REALLY lost a lot of the good will they had by doing so, at least with me.

Unless things improve drastically -and- QUICKLY, I will NOT be renewing my subscription.
