There is a registry on windows 7 that allows it to have a different picture for it's logon screen and everytime I use ccleaner it resets the registry back to 0 and I need it to be 1. The registry is OEMBackground, it's full out location is this. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background\OEMBackground. When I type that out into the browse thing the OK button doesn't pop out so I can't press it. If I'm doing it wrong can some one explain to me how I'm suppose to exclude this registry.
Hi Austin, and welcome to Piriform.
When you insert the registry address into the window, you need to select the correct hive name in the box circled in the screenshot, and then remove the hive name from the beginning of the address as it's already in the small box.
The OK button should then become active.
Hope that helps.
Thank you, it worked!
