Open Windows taskmanager. Look for any instances of CCleaner running. Click on them and select 'end task'

Then try the installer again

On windows XP, ccleaner 5.61 setup installer download in c:\ in place of c:\program files\ccleaner...

I just purchased the CCleaner Professional Plus Bundle v5.61.7392 (through Cleverbridge) and registered the product online.
