How/When did Spam Terrier get in my Outlook Express?

Although I use 100% web mails now days, I still get mails from family and e commerce sites in OE. I was looking for something I stored in an OE folder and there is ST. I never installed it (nor had I ever noticed it before) and besides my combination of PopTray and K9 cuts spam off at the pass. It doesn't seem to be bothering anything, just would love to know how it got there and how long it's been there. I looked in Program Files and it's not even in the OE folder. Any theories?

Do you use Outpost software such as the security suite or firewall?

I ask because Spam Terrier is produced by Agnitum who also the Outpost software.

As far as I can tell it was released in March this year.

Have you installed anything from Agnitum, maybe they bundled it into a intaller?

Does anyone else use your machine, they may have installed it....

It may be located in its own folder, eg C:\program files\agnitum\spamterrier so look arround.

You sholld be able to get a date checking the properties of the files located in the folder.

According to the homepage:

Release date: March 27, 2007

Version: 1.0 (build 90)

Size, MB: 1,58

As for uninstalling, look in the Start / Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs and

you should find it in there to uninstall.

I'd done all of that, including AppData, not to be found! Never installed anything from Agnitum either and doubtful installed by anyone else, however, not impossible. Still can't find it thought!
