The icon you need to click is the "Cleaner" (single C) icon which looks like a brush, not the "CCleaner" icon top left.
Select the drive you want to wipe in "Options\Settings", and also select the "Wipe Free Space" box in the "Windows\Advanced" section.
You can right click the "Wipe Free Space" name in that section, select "Clean", and only WFS will run if that's what you want. But, make sure to uncheck the boxes afterwards.

Hope that helps.
Thanks a bunch, it helped a lot.
Let me ask a question!
I read here at the forum that police can retrieve the files. Is that true?
If the free space has been written with zeros (or whatever) and/or overwritten, how could they possibly retrieve them?
They can't. They *might* find something depending on your drive, but it would cost a lot. If you have top secret documents, use a hammer. Else, you'll be safe.

Tks again!
Marcc please bear in mind that if you have something on your computer that would cause you trouble with the law, you will not get advice on how to save yourself from them here.
