How to start CCleaner as minimized?

It’s annoying. I set my CCleaner to start with Windows, but everytime I get the full window.

No help?

CCleaner 7 always starts with the computer, already minimized. If you aren’t seeing the icon in the system tray, use the option on the first page of settings to show tray icon

Hi @Sylver_Cheetah_53,
As Nergal has advise CCleaner should always start with Windows minimised to the system tray until launched by the user.
When you say you set CCleaner to start with Windows please send me a screenshot of this option so I can investigate this further.

Thanks @Sylver_Cheetah_53, please could you let me know which version of CCleaner you are using?
You can see this by going to Settings> About in CCleaner.

7.11.1522.0

Thanks @Sylver_Cheetah_53.
Please follow these steps to help us investigate the issue:

  1. Download and install the CCleaner Support Tool using the link below: https://download.ccleaner.com/CCleanerSupportTool.exe
  2. Replicate the issue on your end.
  3. Run the tool to generate the logs.
  4. At the end of the process, you’ll receive a 5-digit File ID.

Please share that File ID with me so I can review the logs and investigate further.

If you have any issues, please let me know.

Okay. File ID: LXRRB

Thank you for these log files,
We have recently released the v7.12 update to CCleaner and I can see from the log files that you are on v7.11.
Please update to v7.12 and let me know if you still experience this issue?

Yes. It’s the same.

Thanks for confirming this @Sylver_Cheetah_53, I will follow up with this thread when I have more details from the development team.

Thank you.

I’ll be waiting.

There should be an option, in the Settings, to start CCleaner minimized.

But there isn’t!

Hi @Sylver_Cheetah_53,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I have been investigating this.
Did you add a shortcut for CCleaner to the folder C:\Users\(YourName)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup?
If so, you can remove this as CCleaner already starts when they log in and running it like this via Windows startup will bring up the user interface as you are experiencing.
If you have any questions, please message me back
