Could someone help me to run Recuva? I used the dupeGuru app to help me get rid of music file duplicates from my computer’s Music Folder and from the music files in my external hard drive. However, after I compared the Music Folder with the external hard drive and attempted to delete any duplicates between the two, dupeGuru decimated my Music Folder and randomly deleted a lot of albums in my collection.
But I tried Recuva and followed the seemingly easy and straightforward instructions, but I got this a long list of results that I can’t make heads or tails out of. Meanwhile, I started a thread about this at another forum, but decided to come to this forum for additional help. And from one person at the forum, it was suggested that I “limit the search to certain paths.” Could someone further explain to me how to do that?
