the following line does not run CCleaner 7 from windows command prompt what am I doing wrong?
“C:\Program Files\Piriform\CCleaner 7\CCleaner.exe” /AUTO
Currently old cmd tags like auto and /export no longer are available.
The developers have asked if you want them reurned to post a suggestion at the idea portal in the lefthand pane.
Pro tip, if you create a schedule with your chosen clean type (custom or healthcheck) then go to task scheduler (windows not ccleaner) ooen the task (under piriform folder) and copy the action you can run a clean in the fashion of auto.
For instance i typed into an admin terminal
“C:\Program Files\Piriform\CCleaner 7\CCleaner.exe” /bg /scheduledCC
and it ran a custom clean. Mine was instant but until prifiorm fixes a bug in custom clean I’m forced to use a limited custom clean
