How do I roll back CCleaner to a previous restore point? My speakers will not work, and I'm suspecious I accidentally deleted something I shouldn't have during my last cClean.
And also, will this roll back delete new files and work I've created since that last restore point?
Thanks.
System Restore does not affect your personal data files (such as Microsoft Word documents, browsing history, drawings, favorites, or e-mail) so you won't lose changes made to these files.

Alternately you could just re-install your sound drivers.
CCleaner does not work as a system restore Rob.
What it does do is when you do an "issues" clean it offers you the option to save a back up of the registry entries it is going to delete. This is saved by default in my documents and you right-click and choose merge to reinstall them, but only if you chose to use this backup option when offered it.
Firery's ideas of reinstalling drivers sounds about right (sorry for the pun, not intended!)
