How to do complete uninstall

As posted previously without any solution or advice, I thought I would try uninstalling CCleaner completely. I ran smartyuninstaller to cleanup any obvious registry entries. Unfortunaty, CCleaner wasn't fully uninstalled because when I went to install it again, my previous settings were already there.

Where are the settings kept? I want to remove all traces of CCleaner because for some reason it falsely shows cookies as being present even after cleaning and it shows up in the to be cleaned section.

File System:

C:\Program Files\CCleaner

Registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Piriform\CCleanerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\CCleaner

Using something like the freeware Revo Uninstaller can rather thoroughly remove programs.

thanks. But the program files directory was removed including the two registry entries by smartyuninstaller yet my CCleaner settings were in tact. I'm thinking there must be another file or directory hiding elsewhere? I checked Application data but I didn't find any.

I'll try Revouninstaller. Thx.

To my knowledge those are the only locations where CCleaner data and settings are stored.
