How to disable driver updater on free version. I don’t need new drivers but it says I do. I have seen other web comments where driver updater turns your PC into a blue screen brick.
As you have the Free version then it will not attempt to update any drivers for you (or any software).
CCleaner Free can look for them and tell you if there are any newer versions, so that you can update them yourself if you want to, but only the CCleaner Pro version can actually update them for you - if you want it to do that.
You can just ignore them on the side menu, and ignore if/when Health Check ask you to upgrade to Pro to update them.
And yes; updating drivers willy-nilly without being sure what you are doing can (and does) lead to problems in some cases.
I only ever change/update a driver if there is a problem with the one that I have already.
If the drivers you have are working fine on your machine then why change?
