I was able to access CCleaner Professional once after original download. After I closed the program, it was downgraded to CCleaner 7 with less features and functions. I’ve been unable to contact support for a refund. Advice would be appreciated, Thank you, Michael.
If you are having issues with CCleaner 7 then consider going back to v6.39: How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39
Follow ALL of the instructions there, particularly about turning off the Automatic Updating and deleting ‘CCupdate.exe’, if you do not follow the instructions then your newly rolled back CCleaner will just update to CCleaner7 again.

Thank you! I have been using CCleaner for many years, but version 7 has been a big disappointment. It’s marginally prettier, but it feels dumbed-down, I can’t see as much detail as I used to see, and parts of it - startup manager notably - don’t actually work. Hoping they get version 7 figured out and improved, but I’ll be sticking with 6 until they do.
