How stop CCleaner from updating software

CCleaner Professional on Windows 10

I ran Health Check and it took greater than 1 hour.

The settings say I’ll update manually; however, the app went ahead and updated Office and ither apps that I didn’t want touched. How do l enforce the rule that software should not be updated?

Simply choose “Skip” or “Skip for now” when it gives you the option to update things after a scan.

PS. The 'update manually" setting in “Settings” applies to CCleaner itself, not other software.
