From a cable channel science show I watched years ago astronomers stated the Earth is on the outer edges of Jupiter's massive gravity.

surprising? - kind of! , it is the Sun, sitting at the bottom of our solar system-wide gravity well after all, that keeps all 9 planets in orbit. (yes 9, it will always be 9 from this old boys' schooling)
