Going by the information on piriform.com, it's a software company that releases Defraggler, CCleaner and Recuva for free. For free? God that's great.
I've been using Piriform products myself for the last three years and I've always wondered how they've been able to sustain and develop their applications since they give it away for free? I know that they do make some money from optional Yahoo! Toolbar installations but is that money enough to keep the company running?
What's the business model here?
I really love CCleaner and I'm really curious to get some behind the scenes info on how these guys manage to provide their products free of cost!
Rock on guys. CCleaner is the first thing I install on any new computer!
