How do I switch back to Version 6

Hi there does anyone know how to switch back to Version 6 as Version 7 is a total waste of time. Keeps trying to reinstall and does not work the same

How to Roll Back from v7 to v6.39

We now have numerous posts from users dissapointed with the new v7 and asking if/how they can roll back to v6.39. Whilst normally I would say that you should use the latest version that works on your machine I also believe that you should have the choice to roll back from a major feature update. Thank you was only showing part of the message until I clicked on it. It worked because prior I downloaded a link and it installed but then updated to 7. Such a pain. But used the link on the post and it worked and shut off the updates and seems to be working. Thank you
