I’ve disabled the program in startup and even checked that it isn’t even in the Windows startup folder, I’ve disabled automatic updates, and I don’t have a subscription, so smart scheduling isn’t even an option. Yet this damn program insists on launching itself over and over again. Even if I kill it in the task manager, it just launches itself again and keeps spamming me with advertisements, trying to get me to upgrade to premium. Is there any way I can permanently kill this thing from launching unless I want it to, or am I forced to just uninstall and use different software?
Ccleaner is now a windows service, the only way to stop the service from running is to disable it in windows services, which renders ccleaner gui unuseable.
