Lately (after Windows update?) more times than not when I log onto my home page (MSN) it causes my computer to freeze up.
I can't manually shut off the computer, I have to shut off the power unit then restart.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

That's pretty weird. What web browser are you using? I have MSN set as homepage on my IE (even though I never use it), and when I open it, I don't notice any freeze ups. I also installed the latest Windows Updates. Maybe it's a conflict with the updates you installed?
I'm using Firefox
If you use firefox safe mode does it still happen then?
