HELP needed with Registry Issues...PLEASE

I selected the Registry Button, then scanned for issues, and fixed selected issues. I did choose to back-up before proceeding. After doing this, I am no longer able to open Microsoft Office Outlook. I receive the message "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window." So I went to My Documents and tried to merge the registration entries I had just saved thinking that might have caused this problem. I get the message "Cannot import. Not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes."

Have I lost my email program forever?????

It looks to be saying that a program you are trying to import reg keys for may be open.

Trying booting into safe mode and doing the merge from there after making sure all open programs are closed.

Also which operating system are you using and did you by chance use the cleaner beforehand?

I'm so thankful someone responded...it was also a good reminder to stay calm!

I'm in over my head. How do I boot into safe mode? I use Windows XP and I did run the cleaner first.

Safe mode (scroll down to the xp instructions)

It's not as scary as it might seem to get into safe mode. It looks a bit weird graphics wise but once the desktop finally loads in safe mode, either double-click the .reg file or right-click it and choose merge.
