Have not recieved refund

Hi! upon seeing others take on this i see I’m not the only one victim to this. I have recently applied for the free trial for ccleaner professional but completely forgot to cancel it and had requested a refund 11 days ago and sent two tickets requesting the refund and have had NO response. And while I do applaud the services within the actual cleaner, the customer service itself has not been great and I would very much like my money back before the 30 day money back guarantee is over.

kinda belies the idea you’re a victim. Subscriptions have worked like that for years, not just CCleaner, the same can be seen in Amazon free trial of Prime Music (as an example). Or the special price on toothpaste or makeup on TV mail order commercials, you only pay 20 bucks for a 400 dollar anti-aging cream you’re going to pay a lot closer to the 400 when you run out and need more.

These are not victims, it’s just a truth of business.

trials that take credit cards, rely on a certain amount of people to forget.

I understand where you are coming from, and I was not insinuating I was fully in the right and get that businesses do in fact count on people forgetfulness. However I was more so referring to the lack of communication, I have not received any further email or such regarding the whole refund besides a email confirming I sent a ticket, and did not receive that second confirmation for my second ticket. I purposely waited a long time if things were I suppose busy, however I have received nothing. I know no business is the same, but I’ve never had this experience with any other business. And I only referred to being a ‘victim’ only because other people have experienced the same thing.

This is by no means a dig at the company, I actually quite happened to find Ccleaner very useless lol, just haven’t had a good experience regarding the communication side of things, like other people have. But again I 100% get where you are coming from though.

@Laurence_CCleaner Hello there, I have sent multiple emails requesting my refund; it was written I could do so if I forget to cancel my free trial and I have had two or so responses, one confirming that a refund will happen but they also gave me another offer, to which I refused and requested my refund. I have not heard back anything except a “Case resolved” even though I was given no confirmation of my refund happening nor have I recieved my money back.

My first email and refund request was 23/09/2025
My response from Avneet with the CCleaner Customer Care Team which said they were proceeding with the refund was 30/09/2025.
My case was apparently closed on 05/10/2025 even though I replied to the emails and have had no responses.

I am reaching out as I urgently need assistance regarding an unauthorized charge of $47.98 for a one-year subscription to CCleaner for 2026, which was automatically renewed on 12-30-2025. I am a 71-year-old cancer patient, entirely dependent on Social Security for my income. I followed all the proper procedures to cancel my subscription via the Cleverbridge links earlier this year, yet I find myself being charged despite this.

After contacting both Cleverbridge and Piriform on the day that the pending charge appeared, I was disheartened to receive an immediate response stating “No Refunds Given,” which is simply unacceptable under my circumstances. This charge is something I absolutely cannot afford, and it will cause significant financial strain on my already limited budget.

If you could please consider this message and assist me with resolving this issue, I would be truly grateful. I look forward to your reply.

If you’re still within the 30-day guarantee, the fastest way seems to be contacting support via the Help Centre and using the live chat after submitting the ticket. Several refunds here only moved once a staff member prioritized the case. Keep your ticket ID handy and follow up publicly if needed.
