I've tried it several times, even using Deep Scan, and have only been able to recover scrambled and unreadable files. This camera creates .MOD files, and when I tried searching for that type, I get nothing.
I used Recuva successfully on an SD card before this, and was so hopeful about recovering videos I had shot on a trip to Mexico last year, but alas! I can't seem to get it to work.
I accidentally started to delete all files on the hard drive, but almost instantly realized it was a mistake and cancelled the operation. I have not recorded anything on the hard drive since then, but have been recording to an SD card, so I'm thinking the original files should be pretty much intact... but I can't find them!
Any suggestions, or should I just format the drive and start over?
