Hi.............I'm new to the forum. Have been running CCleaner for 3 months on the advice of my 'PC Docter' and loveit! Problem is, my job is Internet-based and there are certain pre-sets that I need for my job. These are kept on the company server and always appear when I start work, but CCleaner has erased them all, so every time I sign in to work, I have to re-do all my presets - takes ages. I know you can 'exclude' things you want to keep, but I'm a technodummy and have no ideas how to identify the files I need to keep from my log. Other staff have had the same problem and have stopped using CCleaner, recommending that I uninstall it too. I want to keep using it, but cannot keep re-setting my work pre-sets on every shift. Incidentally, for my last two shifts, I DIDN'T use CCleaner and guess what? All my presets were still there when I logged on to work. Please help if you can as I would like to carryon using this program if I can. How do I identify these necessary files please?
