GPO Administrative Template .adm

Attached is a simple administrative template to configure CCleaner using Group Policy Objects. To repackage the application as MSI simply use e.g. Installer2Go

Copy the following files to C:\Program Files\CCleaner\

CCHelper.ocx

ccleaner.dll

ccleaner.exe

CCListBar.ocx

CCListView.ocx

CCSubTimer.dll

CCSystem.dll

CCTab.ocx

CCTreeView.ocx

history.txt

lang-1033.dll

lang-1053.dll

license.txt

winapp.ini

winreg.ini

winsys.ini

Register all .ocx files and two .dll files

(regsvr32.exe CCHelper.ocx CCListBar.ocx CCListView.ocx CCTab.ocx CCTreeView.ocx CCSubTimer.dll CCSystem.dll)

Don't forget to include the CCleaner Software Licence Agreement.

Thanks, this will be great in a domain environment. All you need is a log in script when users login to the domain the script just pull this down and install it to their desktops..........YAY!

It would be great if CCleaner could be distributed as a MSI package so I don't have to repackage every new release. Also it would be nice if CCleaner honored registry settings in "Software\Policies\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options" to avoid policy tattooing.

This did not seem to work for me. After importing, all the selection data was blank on the GPO. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. After adding the ADM file to group policy the data selections is blank. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
