Is there a way use Google to search within a website exclusively?
Example: I want to find the term NAT in website www.wilderssecurity.com, but I don't want results from any other site.
Yes, I know most sites have a search feature, but many either don't have one or the one they have is limited somehow.
yes you can ![:)]()
term site:www.something.com
Your example would look like this
NAT site:www.wilderssecurity.com
That works. Thanks ![:)]()
Now, is there a Firefox extension or some other means to make this easier than entering it manually?
You can use the Google Advanced Search Page:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en
(Domain > Only show results from following domain)
I use the Google toolbar for that. I don't have the actual toolbar showing, instead I replace the FF search box with the Google search box and add the buttons for 'Search this site', 'Feeling lucky' and 'Highlight' next to it ![:)]()
