Brains?? Heh.
There was a TV news clip about Google Glass last night. They even showed some dude wearing a pair, and they looked a bit goofy to be wearing in public.

'course so did (do) Bluetooth earpiece wearers
just wondering, speaking of the BT ear sets, how many you guys see in your part of the world.
here, I'd be lucky to count 1 a day, to be honest, probably more like 1 a week would be the average.
they had a bit of a popularity spurt, with the tradies and white-collars, about 8 years ago, but that only lasted, maybe, 2 years.
i'm guessing/hoping, the same will be with these Glasses - or less so if that price stays up there.

No those people especially women with long hair that make it impossible to see the earpiece make them look like they're escaped nutters from the insane asylum.
Case in point last year for the family reunion cookout my cousin was just talking up a storm to what we thought was nobody, turns out she had a Bluetooth earpiece for her phone that was completely hidden because of her hair.
Then there was the time recently when I was grocery shopping and saw some dude just cursing up a storm walking down an aisle, then I realized he had a Bluetooth earpiece but only because I could see it, but it was interesting seeing other people who didn't know about it in the aisle part as if he was completely insane and pointing at him because it looked like he was having a colorful argument with himself and cursing.
ah, gone are the days when I could walk down an aisle in grocer's store and scream crazily at m'self, now everyone thinks I am on phone with m'wife. Sigh
I guess this "Giggle" Glass thing hasn't died on the vine yet so thought I would sneak in and water the plant. It is the Lounge. Last night was doing a little "Treking" for nostagia. Saw Levar Burton who protrays Lt Cmdr Geordi LaForge-Helmsman, Chief Engineer and eventually Captain wearing his wraparound shades. He had a legitimate reason for wearing those as was naturally blind in the series. Just wondering if such eyewear is on Giggle's drawing board. Where no man has gone before. Mr. Sulu, plot a course and get me out of here :-) Take care all.

Funny, if only they had made the video longer.
As long as her Google glass(es) didn't crash I guess all is well.
A humorous take on the new anti-google glass device: http://xkcd.com/1251/
Google is ending sales of its Google Glass eyewear.
The company insists it is still committed to launching the smart glasses as a consumer product, but will stop producing Glass in its present form.
Instead it will focus on "future versions of Glass" with work carried out by a different division to before.
It didn't take long for Google (peace be upon Them) to realize that people in general were calling anyone wearing them in public "glassholes". Kind of said it all in one word.
