Gone from free cleaner to paying and lost touchpad and keyboard use

I’ve just gone from using the product for free and have lost the use of my touchpad and keyboard

Did you use the Driver Updater?

What you describe can happen if/whe you update to a driver that is not meant for your hardware,
Just because a driver is a newer version of a driver than the one that you have does not mean that new version it is meant for your hardware.
In fact a new driver version has usually been made to suit new hardware, not the hardware that you have in your machine. (It might still work with yours, but it might not).

It sounds like you may have updated your keboard driver and mouse/touchpad driver to new versions which are unsuitable for your particular keyboard and touch pad.

You can try opening the Driver Updater and clicking on the “Fix a Problem” button to see if it can roll-back the driver(s) for you.

PS. I never let any software update my drivers - if they are working then there is no need to change or update them.
