GIMP 3.0 not recognized

Hi, a few weeks ago GIMP 3.0 has been released: it’s installed in “3” directory instead of “2” (it didn’t override previous installation, but created a new parallel one) and probably has another fingerprint, but Ccleaner doesn’t consider it for update.
Now, I removed the 2.x installation and it neither notices I have Gimp installed

Hi, same problem here, upgraded Gimp now about 12 times from 2.x to 3.0.2-1. I only see a “Gimp 2” folder in Program Files, no “Gimp 3”. Does ccleaner stop complaining? Then I might do the same. Just uninstall Gimp 2.0. There is an uninstall folder there, just not sure if I lose all my wifes’ settings..

I noticed a Gimp 2.x and a Gimp 3.x installed in windows control panel/apps & features or add and remove programs or something similar (programma’s en onderdelen in dutch). So I removed 2.x. Ccleaner stopped complaining. Fingers crossed
