While I've never experienced any problems over the years with CCleaner, over the last couple of days I've tried various times to do a full (i. e. with deletion of the content) disk wipe (1 pass) with CCleaner 3.01 (Windows 7, x64) of a second internal S-ATA HDD partition. I've never succeded - CCleaner is always crashing at the beginning of the wipe. Any ideas?
if so please upload it to http://drop.io (or other file dropbox site, which doesn't hobble non-member downloads i.e. not mediafire) and link the download link to this thread. This will aid the developers find what is going on (developers read all the threads)
Yes - it crashed completely (always does - so at least this error is highly reproducable), with Windows saying that CCleaner doesn't work anymore.
Except for the log file, there are no other files in CCleaner's program folder (except for the executables etc). Or should I look for the mdp file in a different location?
I don't see a crash here, did ccleaner crash?
was a mdp file created?

Hi, I am also having the same problem when I try to erase my external drive, CCleaner 3.01.1327 Crash log included. No mdp created at time of crash log creation.
