As far as x86 continue working properly... Like it or not x64 is becoming mainstream. X86 will be obsolete in the near future, I reckon.

I uninstalled Waterfox a while ago after it started causing problems. It was running fine for a few months, then, blech. I'm back on FF 16.01.

An alternative way of saying that is that there will be no further Beta 64 bit variants,
and henceforth all available official Firefox x64 users will be Beta Testers.
So no change there then
