It seems to work and it's a nice looking program.
Does the same thing as the tweak list found on my site. So you could install ChromEdit and install the tweaks that way with more features and better results.
Taruns right I just tried this program and it is slower than the chrom edit tweaks. I already had chromedit and installed this program and I could see it get significantly slower.
I am struggling with this chromedit thing, I download what appears to be it from the mozdev website, but I dont end up with an application, I get a file called chromedit.xpi.
What do I do now.
It should install like an extension. Try to download it from here:
http://cdn.mozdev.org/chromedit/
Then go to Taruns website and cut and paste the optimizations.

Thats where I downloaded it from, just downloaded it again to be sure, but it is still the same.
Once I have it on my desktop, I double click it, then get told by windows that it cannot open this file.
I know I am doing something stupidly wrong, but dont know what.
They can't be installed that way. Tools>Extensions
Drag and drop the XPI onto the extensions pane.
Thanks Dj, that was easy,
Now I just have to paste the optimizations in like rridgely said?
I'm guessing I just paste them in the same pane that I dropped the XPI.

Actually, once you restart Firefox go to Tools > Edit User Files > user.js tab.
Tarun,
My Computer (I know I need a new one but I'm holding back for the next windows release):
Athlon XP 1800+
256MB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX440
512Kbps ADSL Connection
What settings do I use from your website?

Go for the For fast computers and fast connections, optimal settings.
CaPMan: if you added 256 MB to your machine, you'd triple your speed.
