Is there a better Firefox Download Manager than Firefox's own?
Down Them All https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201
As long as it's not Firefox's then it's better.
I'm with you on that.As long as it's not Firefox's then it's better.
I hear that IEPro's Mini Download Manager is pretty good but I don't use a download manager as I'm "Always On" DSL connected and get great download speed:
Read about it:
IEPro, Bring these remaining Firefox features into your IE7

It works with IE8 beta2 as well.
I'm with you on that.

Your with him on that? You say you don't use a down load manager which means you use IE7's built in piece of crap. Firefox's built in download manger is much better than IE7's.
I think the only thing download managers are good for:
- When downloading a bunch of files back to back they can be queued to automatically download without having to sit their doing it manually.
- When downloading large files where loosing the connection would also be frustrating even on broadband.
- People still on dial-up. A download manager with resume capabilities is a necessity for dial-up users.
^ #1,2 and firefox's fails on me for some reason here.
